The planter is a sturdy wooden frame (to keep it from tipping over), an open plastic container for catching water, and a plastic container with four sections to hold the seeds.  The seeds that are included will allow you to grow 100 percent organic wheat, rye, oats and barley in four to six days.  Simply soak the soil pods that are included with the grass planter kit in warm water for approximately ten minutes, remove a small amount of the soil, place the seeds into the spot where the soil was removed and then cover them with the soil that was previously removed.
